I’m a board member for the Airforwarders Association!

Well, I think that we can all agree that THIS piece of news is one that is most welcome and for which I am extremely honored:

AfA Airmail Announcement

The Airforwarders Association is a tremendous organization full of industry veterans and is doing remarkable work on a number of fronts. They’ve fought the lithium battery issue, AES filing for carnets, are working with CBP and TSA in the ACAS development and have now waded into the discussion taking place in the state of New York about moving air cargo out of JFK to Stewart Airport seventy miles away. The air cargo community knows how DOA this issue is, the politicians just need to be told it from every corner of their constituency now.

Mullins International Solutions customers can readily benefit from this through access to industry thought-leaders as well as the connections that the Association has to carriers, ground handlers and government regulators to get questions answered and to solve problems. I look forward to serving the AfA membership and my customers in this new role.
